February 24th, 2021

A Professor of Islamic Studies and a specialist on the study of the Qur’an and of Muslim-Christian relations, Gabriel Said Reynolds defended his PhD thesis at Yale University. The author of numerous studies and specialty books – Allah: God in the Qur’an (Yale University Press, 2020); The Qur’an and the Bible (Yale University Press, 2018);  The Qurʾān Seminar Commentary (De Gruyter, 2016); The Emergence of Islam (Fortress, 2012); The Qurʾān and its Biblical Subtext (Routledge, 2010), he is the host of the Minding Scripture podcast, where a broad range of specialists discuss the intellectual diversity of world religions, especially Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

In a world marked by aversion-dominated discourse, Minding Scripture issues a global call to faith as a process of accelerating our capacity to reason and act in the spirit of peace and tolerance.
