Remus Pricopie, member of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization, Rector of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies, President of the World University Consortium and former Romanian Minister of Education between 2012-2014 was elected as Trustee within the Board of Trustees of the World Academy of Art and Science
Along with Remus Pricopie, several others have been elected in the Board of Trustees, such as Jonathan Granoff (President of the Institute for Global Security), Ketan Patel (CEO and Founder of the Greater Pacific Capital), Janani Ramanathan (Associated senior researcher at The Mother’s Service Society, Pondicherry, India), Alexander Zidansek (Vice-dean of the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School, Ljubljana, Slovenia), and Moneef Zou’bi (General Director of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences, Jordan).
As a result of these elections, seven members of the ISACCL Scientific Council are also part of the World Academy of Art and Science Board of Trustees: Emil Constantinescu, Remus Pricopie, Garry Jacobs, Alberto Zucconi, Nebojša Nešković, Fadwa El Guindi, Thomas Reuter.
The elections for Junior Fellows, Associate Fellows and Fellows of the Academy are on-going until August 31st, 2021.
It was in this very same reunion that the Academy’s Code of Ethics was voted upon and approved. The Code of Ethics is important for the Academy as it provides a means to participate in internationally financed projects.
