Having attended the debates organized by the World Academy of Art and Science around its future Human Security for All (HS4A) project at the headquarters of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization, the Director of the UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurship and Intercultural Management at the University of Wuppertal, Professor Christine Volkmann, signed a collaboration and partnership agreement with the Institute by which to organize joint activities and projects focusing on the two institutions' main areas of scientific interest.
The parties have committed to collaborate on research and innovation in higher and postdoctoral education, to implement forms of cooperation in the planning and implementation of studies and projects focusing on areas of common interest, and to organise joint events and projects such as international conferences and physical and online workshops that promote closer exchanges of experience and expertise between professors, researchers and students in the specific academic areas of interest of each event.
The inaugural institutional collaboration between the two signatory parties under the provisions of the present agreement will take place under the framework of the Ports of the Danubian-Pontic Region, Places of Interference of Cultures and Civilizations over Millennia project carried out by the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization.
