OFFICIAL AND UNOFFICIAL DIPLOMATIC MEETINGS: A PATH TO PEACE AND THE PROGRESS OF DEMOCRACY

Organizat anual în capitala Germaniei de către Fundația „Cinema for Peace” și partenerii

Organised annually in the capital of Germany by the "Cinema for Peace" Foundation and its partners, the World Forum on the Future of Democracy, AI/Tech and Humankind awards documentary filmmaking that presents facts and evidence that inspires debate of some of the most pressing issues of the contemporary world: democracy, peace, justice, human rights and cultural diplomacy.

The event brings together political leaders and representatives of civil society and culture deeply engaged in elaborating ideas and practices for a better world and a fundamental shift of our current society for global wellbeing. At the same time, the World Forum offers the opportunity for both official and unofficial diplomatic meetings that may well pave the way to the progress of democracy and peace, of justice and of individual liberties. Each panel of the World Forum is followed by a lawmaking workshop that aims to develop frameworks of law with the aim of implementing them worldwide.

The 2026 edition was attended by over 300 current and former heads of state and of government, high state officials, representatives of national assemblies, members of diplomatic cops, university professors, renowned international philanthropists, human rights activists and philosophers seeking solutions to some of the most acute problems of the moment as part of a productive series of debates divided into 50 parallel sessions.
