Emil Constantinescu, the president of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Civilization, is a member of the “Board of Trustees” of Bibliotheca Alexandrina starting from 2014, and during 16-20 April 2018, he participated in its annual meeting. Discussions were held on the objectives of sustainable development and how they will be implemented in various fields. The partnership between the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Civilization and “Bibliotheca Alexandrina” will shortly find an actual form, after the preliminary discussions that president Emil Constantinescu and Luiza Niță, “Cultural Diplomacy” department counsellor, had with representatives of the executive management of Bibliotheca Alexandrina: dr. Mostafa El Feki, director, Hoda Elmikaty, deputy director, and Heba Elrafey, head of the Public Relations and International Cooperation Department.
