PhD c. David Gabriel Carpen (Univesity of Bucharest) presented his research topic, titled „Brotherly War or Peace with the Heretics? The Dispute among the Non-Chalcedonians Regarding Ecclesiological Practice and the Solution of Patriarch Severus of Antioch". He focused on patriarch Sever of Antioch´s role and activity as conflict mediator for the Christians in Syria, which took place one hundred years after the council of Chalcedon (451).
