Professor Lena Salaymeh (Oxford University & École Pratique des Hautes Études Paris)
Lena Salaymeh is a scholar of law and history specializing in critical theory. She is a Professor at Oxford School of Global and Area Studies, University of Oxford, and Director of Studies at École Pratique des Hautes Études Paris, Section des Sciences Religieuses. She has been a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and Private International Law and a Visiting Associate Research Scholar at the Davis Center for Historical Studies at Princeton University.

She published books, edited volumes and articles including the book: The Beginnings of Islamic Law: Late Antique Islamicate Legal Traditions. Cambridge University Press, Cambridge University Press, 2016.
