On April 4th 2019, the President of the Scientific Council of the IASLCC, Emil Constantinescu, met with the General Director of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Ms. Sabah Abd El Razik Saddik. During this meeting, which laid the groundwork for future collaborations to common projects and initiatives, President Constantinescu presented the mission, objectives and activities of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization, as well as a selection from among the most representative ongoing projects it is currently undertaking, among which The Levant – a Bridge between the Civilizations of Western Europe and of the Far East and The Great Books of the Levant. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo represents an exemplary model of good practices with regard to organizing exhibitions that aim to present particular artefacts, with the ISALCC intending to emulate the Egyptian model in its future exhibitions.
