The President of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization, Emil Constantinescu, met with Dr Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation at the headquarters of the IASLCC in Bucharest. Mr. Suver wished to personally present President Constantinescu hisinvitation as guest of honour at the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit,which will be held between the 5th-6th of February, 2019.At the event, a special panel will present the ongoing and prefigured activity, programmes and projects of the IASLCC for the coming year. On the occasion, a collaborative protocol framework will be signed between the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization and the Marmara Group Foundation.
The Eurasian Economic Summit attempts to explore new avenues of improving the relations between the European Union and countries in Central Asia, Africa and the Americas. The themes of the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit propose difficult questions, such as “Is Artificial Reality a Threat or a Solution?”,“Water and Population Migration; Water and Religion”, “The New Dimensions of Globalisation”, “Problems of Health Tourism” or “Our Responsibility for the Future: Technological Progress and the Prefigured Future of Humanity.”
The Marmara Group Foundation is a non-governmental organization that was formed in 1984, which from the outset directed its energies towards promoting unity,social cohesion and a culture of peace across European societies. An organization for which transparency and a sense of responsibility are paramount to its continued existence, the Marmara Group Foundation continues to organize events that facilitate the enunciation of common points of view and common interests, sensibilities and needs, at the same time highlighting the importance and relevance of a culture of democracy and of market economies –events in the same vein as the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit.
