The meeting of the Scientific Council of the IASLCC was attended both by the Romanian members of the Scientific Council, and by those members of the Scientific Council from the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS): Garry Jacobs, CEO of WAAS and the World University Consortium (WUC), Alberto Zucconi, co-chairman of WAAS and by Nebojša Nešković, Secretary-General of WAAS.
The Scientific Council of the IASLCC were presented with the annual activity report for 2017-2018, unanimously validated following the debates of the research themes and of the editorial and communications projects presented therein.
The meeting saw discussions on potential future directions of development for the IASLCC, both nationally and internationally, with regard to the establishment of partnerships with other institutions outside Romania. The discussions also revolved around exploring other potential avenues of promoting the activities of the Institute on the local, national and international level.
During the meeting, Radu Boroianu was voted in as Secretary-General of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization.
