The Board of Trustees of the World University Consortium holds its reunion in Bucharest

On Monday, October 10th, the Board of Trustees of the World University Consortium held its reunion at the National University of Political Science and Public Administration in Bucharest, attended by professors and scholars from universities around the world. Remus Pricopie, the University’s Rector, is also the President of the World University Consortium (WUC), while Emil Constantinescu, President of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization and Garry Jacobs, President of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS), are members on the Consortium’s Board.

One of the aims of the founders of the World Academy of Art and Science was for it to ultimately function as an "informal world university". In 2014, through close collaboration with other international organizations, the Academy established the World University Consortium, a separate organization dedicated to the education of the future.

The Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization is a Centre of Excellence of the World Academy of Art and Science.
