The President of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization (IASLCC), Professor Emil Constantinescu, and Professor Mariana Nicolae are the signatories of a collaboration accord between the IASLCC and the “Lingua Economica” Association, established at the initiative of university professors from the Modern Language and Business Communication Department (MLBCD) of the Romanian Academy.
The “Lingua Economica” Association initiates and takes part in research projects focusing on the Humanities; elaborates its own research programmes and other in partnership with other public or private institutions, in Romania and abroad, with the stated aim of contributing to the formation and professional development of university teaching staff and other interested parties; organises scientific seminars and conferences; offers consultancy and advisory services to the academic and professional environment; organises professional training courses promoting a more thorough grasp of modern languages and of the cultures and civilizations that speak them.
