Jan Sadlak, a member of the World Academy of Art and Science is an expert on educational policy, a former Director of the UNESCO Centre for University Education (UNESCO-CEPES), the current president of the IREG Observatory for Academic Ranking and Excellence, and has given lectures at countless universities both in Romania and worldwide. He visited the headquarters of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization for a meeting with the President of the Scientific Council of the IASLCC, Emil Constantinescu. Jan Sadlak has lengthy first-hand experience of the management of educational systems and implementation of educational policy, and is a firm supporter of higher education reform in Central and Eastern Europe. As such, given that the educational activities undertaken until present are essential for the IASLCC’s future growth and development as a significant institution in the Romanian academic milieu, the President of the Scientific Council, Emil Constantinescu, suggested that Kan Sadlak become a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization.
